The style

Faux locs as a style rather than a commitment — hair wrapped over a braided or twisted base for the look and weight of locs without altering your own hair. The names describe the finish: butterfly locs are left deliberately distressed along the length; bohemian and goddess locs have curl worked through them; short faux locs are the same wrap at a shorter length; invisible locs hide the wrap at the root.
